about westside fun
Westside FUN Day Camp has proudly been in operation for over 17 years. Community, connection and creativity are the pillars upon which the camp was built and currently operates. The camp is headed by Garry Kollins - a teacher, coach, certified First Aid/CPR practitioner and Director of Student Life at the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) in downtown Toronto. For the past 20 years, Garry has coached at the high school, middle school and club level. What's more, his involvement in athletics and summer camps - as competitor, instructor and counselor - spans over 30 years. Garry lives in the High Park area with his wife Anisa, Leadership and Gifted Co-ordinator at Western Technical and Commercial School, and their two children, Maliha and Rafi.
